Alternative

Polywhaler does one thing and does not pretend otherwise. Whether that is a virtue depends on what you do with the alert.

What Polywhaler is

Polywhaler is a dedicated Polymarket whale tracker: large trades surfaced through a web interface and a Telegram channel, with a free tier. It is single-purpose by design — no market-structure layer, no directional calls — and that focus is the reason people like it. A tool that does one thing has nothing to go wrong.

When single-purpose stops being enough

The limit shows up the third time you get an alert and cannot decide what to do with it. A large fill tells you somebody took a side. It does not tell you whether the book could absorb it, whether that wallet has ever been right, or whether the crypto market underneath was already being squeezed.

  • Impact instead of size. A wallet that has moved price before earns an alert; a first-time address pushing a large notional through a thin market does not.
  • The book, at the moment of the fill. Depth on both sides, so an aggressive-looking trade that was simply the only price available reads as what it was.
  • What was happening underneath. Funding, open interest, liquidations and long/short positioning — a prediction market on BTC does not move independently of BTC.

Frequently asked

What is the best Polywhaler alternative?
For like-for-like whale alerts, PolymarketScan covers similar ground. If what is missing is the context around the trade rather than more alerts, that is a different kind of tool — the full comparison sets out who does what.
Is a dedicated whale tracker better than an all-in-one?
It is simpler, which is a real advantage. It becomes a disadvantage at the point where every alert sends you to three other tabs before you can act on it. Which side of that line you are on depends on how often you actually trade the alerts.
Can I track specific wallets rather than a threshold?
Yes — a watchlist follows named addresses regardless of whether they clear the ranking. That is often the most useful setting for someone who already knows which six wallets they care about.
