What the product does, and what it will not do
Two perimeters, deliberately equal. On the prediction-market side, the product indexes Polymarket: the markets, the trades, and the wallets behind them. On the crypto side, it samples market structure on perpetual venues — funding, open interest, positioning, and the order book. Both are measurement, not commentary.
What is not here matters as much. There is no order entry, no custody, no portfolio, and no button that copies somebody else’s position. Nothing on any screen is a recommendation, and the numbers we publish about our own accuracy sit on the public register, with the months that do not flatter us included.
Opening an account
- Go to create an account. Two fields: an email address and a password. No wallet is connected, and no third-party account is used.
- Answer the setup questions that follow. They shape what you see first; nothing there is billing.
- You land on the dashboard, on the free Observer plan.
Billing, invoices and cancellation are handled by Stripe from the Account screen. Cancelling keeps your access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Plans and what each one opens are on the pricing page.
Not Account deletion is handled by writing to us rather than by a button, and the Account screen says so on the screen itself instead of hiding it in documentation.
The menu, group by group
| Group | What it answers |
|---|---|
| Overview | Which plan you are on, which Oracle markets it covers, and whether the chain is running right now. |
| Prediction markets | Who is taking a position now (live feed), who has actually made money (operators), where size and pace are landing (markets), and the wallets you follow (watchlist). |
| Oracle | The call for the five-minute slot running now, and what is being said on X asset by asset. |
| Crypto & structure | What each venue pays in funding and holds open, a written read on any chart you drop, and the stored order book of an instrumented market. |
| Account | Where your alerts are delivered and what triggers them, plus billing. Export and the API are in the menu and say on the screen that they are not delivered yet. |
The menu shows the whole product, including the parts that are not built. That is a choice: a menu listing only what is finished makes each delivery look like a surprise instead of a box being filled.
The two conventions that make these screens readable
Every reading carries its age
Funding, open interest, quotes, order books: each block prints how old the reading it shows is, and those ages do not move together. There is no single freshness banner, because there is no single source. When a snapshot is older than the usual gap between two readings, the block says that too rather than quietly serving it as current.
Locked, empty and broken are three different messages
- Locked — your plan does not serve this block. The message names the plan and links to the grid. It is never dressed up as an error.
- Empty — the source answered and returned nothing. Nothing is invented to fill the table; an empty feed on a quiet Sunday morning is not an outage.
- Could not be read — the call failed. The screen shows nothing rather than something it cannot date, and says which neighbouring block is unaffected.
Once you have seen those three states told apart, the rest of the product reads quickly. It is also the fastest way to judge whether a figure here deserves your confidence: anything shown is shown with what is known about it.
A first session that is worth the time
- Open the operators board and read the scope banner before the table. It tells you which dates the ranking actually spans.
- Pick one wallet and paste its address into the Watchlist. That is the address format the whole product uses:
0xfollowed by 40 hexadecimal characters. - Link a delivery channel from the Alerts screen. Rules without a channel trigger and reach nobody — the single most common way to get silence from a product that is working.
- Open Venues & funding and look at one age rather than one number. It is the quickest way to learn what this product considers publishable.
Bu rehberin yanıtladığı sorular
- Do I need a crypto wallet to sign up?
- No. An account is an email address and a password. Wallet addresses appear in the product as things you watch, never as things you connect.
- Can EdgeMarket place a trade for me?
- No, and it is not a roadmap item. The product measures markets and publishes what it measures. There is no execution, no custody and no managed money anywhere in it.
- What does the free plan actually include?
- The public register with its limits printed next to the rate, the full calibration table, the live trade tape, spot quotes and candles, and funding and open interest on the sampled venues. The pricing grid lists every line.
- What happens to my access if I cancel?
- Cancellation is handled in Stripe from the Account screen and keeps your access until the end of the period you have paid for.
